Re: Electrical Problem - tach/speedo, radio, blinkers :( (Don Jefe)

the gauges dropping to zero sounds like a possible ignition switch problem. with the blinkers acting erratic also, I'd lean towards some short occuring in the steering column itself.
check the wire...

Re: where can you boost the idle of a 88 prelude with the air conditioning on? (foellerd)

you can also find the manuals for your model here...

Re: Prelude wont turn over from time to time (preludexballer)

If it's heat related it could be the main relay (fuel relay). You can resolder the relay contacts or get a new one. Do an archive search here for main relay and get the pics.

Re: High pitched squeeking noise during right blinker (MilanoLude)

the alarm tapped into the turn signals - both of them flash when you arm/disarm??
something added to the load on those turn signal lines - you could probably ground the alarm unit brain a little...

Re: Subs in a Prelude??? (305PRC91)

there really aren't any trim pieces that would interfere with the box. the size and angle of the trunk opening is what you're probably having problems with.

If you can't get it in at all, most...

Re: New electrical problem (89pre2.0si)

Did you replace the ignition switch electric components? It consists of a wire bundle and a module that plugs into the back side of the ignition.

then it's time to break out the multimeter and get...

Re: 1991 Honda Prelude Si is stuck in park. (G2IntegraGS)

I think the brake switch is behind the brake pedal.
There's also some sort of lock mechanism under the shifter that should click when that brake switch is pressed.
I'm not sure on the 3rd gen, but...

Re: AND THE PROBLEMS CONTINUE...JUST GETTING BIGGER...HELP APRECIATED (89pre2.0si)
