Re: (cdizzle)

Still full of coolant this morning (before I drove 21 miles to work without the temp gauge moving from normal), but when I got home (after the white smoke-fest), I found the radiator empty.

I blew the engine in my Prelude yesterday at Miller Motorsports park, so the wife and I only have her '94 EX to drive, and it just recently had a severe overheating issue...

Re: Silverado V8 8.1l or the Silverado Diesel (DBurke)

Things to consider:
1) Up-front cost is typically higher on a diesel
2) Oil changes typically cost 3x more on a diesel
3) Fuel costs are higher than gasoline (assuming regular, perhaps $.40/gal....

Re: (mgags7)

It's a great system. They say to buy the stretch kit, but for skis or boards, don't worry about it. If you want to put a kayak on, get it (trust me), but for skis (or bikes, for that matter) it...

I've used a Yakima (http://www.yakima.com/home.html) system on my '95 for years...in fact, I bought it just after I bought the car in '97.

I've actually even used it to carry a kayak numerous...

Thanks for feeding my brain! ...
