I dont think its delay from the gauge, as the pressure shoots up instantly when i restart it after a few minutes. It only happens when i restart after a few hours or overnight

would the oil filter contain enough oil to build up pressure faster? I guess I could try a different brand to see if it helps

hmm, im currently using the oem filter available here in asia, I believe its made in Thailand. the pcx filter isn't available here, any other suggestions for an oil filter with a good drainback...

I'd estimate the motor has less than 1th km on it. What viscosity oil would you recommend? Would a really loose engine die an early death compared to one with stock clearances?

sending unit is located in the oil sandwich plate behind the oil filter. Wouldn't a thicker oil flow more slowly, resulting in even slower oil pressure build up?

The engine is a fresh build, ill ask my builder regarding bearing clearances, it gets adequate pressure while idling and driving though. I dont think its a delayed signal from the sender coz it...

b20v crankcase ventilation question

just completed my b20v and as of now the only vent for the crankcase is the valvecover nipple. Am I risking blowing my seals by running it this way? I'm still waiting for my block prelude fittings...

i have a newly built b20v engine that's just finished breaking in. I was looking at the exhaust ports when I noticed the exhaust valves on no.1 cylinder were clean of deposits on part of the stem....
