Re: Car won't crank

Do you have 12V at the starter solenoid connector when the key is turned to start? How do you know your starter is good?

Threading of thermoswitch and heater hose connector

I have a D16Z6 and am looking for the threading of the rad fan thermoswitch on the thermostat housing.

Also looking for the threading of the heater hose "connector" that threads into the head.

Re: 91 EF short i guess...HELP

Download the manual from Honda hookup and test the wiring. If the actual devices are functioning then the wiring itself is not right. It will walk you through testing the harness and how to correct...

Re: Car wont start need some help

Does it crank? If it doesn't, check the 50A fusible link in the engine bay fuse box. Should be close to where the battery and alternator cable come into the fuse box.

Re: 91 EF short i guess...HELP

Test the main relay harness, and the ignition switch. See if you are getting power where you are supposed to when you are supposed to.

Are you sure your main relay is good? Have you tested it?

Re: 91 EF short i guess...HELP

Your CEL is on, but there is no code? Are you OBD0? A solid light is a code 0. Check all the plugs at the ECU and make sure they are seated properly.

Since it sat for a few days, and won't crank, have you checked the battery? Make sure it has a good charge.

The starter circuit is pretty simple, so if it isn't cranking, there are very few things it can be.

The starter gets power from the battery, so make sure the battery is charged and the wire from...

Is the power wire for the starter making a good clean connection? Is your battery charged?

Re: Front hub failure - Thoughts ?

How does that contribute to hub failure? The spacer, sure. But I dont understand how holes in the rotor hat would increase the chance of hub failure.

Re: Race car brakes keep losing pressure

Yes, it was solved. Stupid mistake caused it. The front forks were installed backwards, so they would hit the calipers and force the piston back in, which meant you had to pump the pedal a bit to...
