Re: H2B Reverse head CRX

I used my knee mill to make the camshaft locator groove. Half of the groove is in the cam cap and half in the cam journal.

The other option would be to grind off the original cam ring and...

Re: H2B Reverse head CRX

Do you mind my asking what type of power were you...

Re: H2B Reverse head CRX

I already had the pistons laying around from another project. In the end I wish I had used the K series pistons so I wouldn't have had to deal with pistons sticking out of the hole a bit.
My...

Re: H2B Reverse head CRX

Yes you are over complicating it . The pistons are turned around so the valve reliefs match the flipped head . The intake cam stays on the intake side and the same with the exhaust. The firing order...

Re: H2B Reverse head CRX

Modification to both the head and block were needed. Some oil drains needed to be blocked off and a few custom pieces I had to make on my mill. I will be doing away with the distributor which greatly...

Re: H2B Reverse head CRX

Reversing the head will make no extra power but I do think it will make some gains when going 120+ MPH. I just decided to try it to take on a challenge. If the car is not making the power I want then...

Re: B16a timing belt does not fit!!!
