Bump cause it's still for sale, this is a great deal for someone to get a HOT motor. I've got an engine lift and will drop it in your car/truck.

back from the dead. i was looking for some pictures from the de anza autocross, and searching de anza brought up this old thread. the engine is still running, i drove it in the autocross a few days...

take the oil cap off, have someone crank the engine.
Do things move?
YES= continue to step 2
NO= throw a new T-belt or a new head or a new engine

Step 2. if stuff moves in the valve train when...

look into the coolant temp sensor on ur cyl head. maybe on the thermostat on the z6. there are 2 wires on it. check with a volt meter. you should have 0 on one wire and varying voltage on the other....

it can work man. you need a wiring diagram. there are 4 wires on ur o2 sensor. heater power, heater ground, signal and signal ground. both grounds are black. i suggest you run those to battery...

carefull with valve clearence. if you run a big cam or mill a lot off the head youll run into problems. those pistons are not meant to work with a vtec head and the valve reliefs are in the wrong...

maybe you have a bad connection on the cable from the battery to the starter or from the ign switch to the starter. its pretty simple. there are two wires at the starter a fat one and a small one....

well black yellow is usually 12v hot in run. and black is usually ground. you need to be more specific

again w the yellow/green wire you need to be more specific. a picture would be good. there...

dude stop replacing parts. if the check engine light is on that doesnt mean put a new engine in.

where is the oil leaking in?
how much blue smoke?
do a compression test
wat code is the check...

i would say that means your alternator is bad. now why does the alternator keep going bad. is the battery super low? maybe there is resistance in the alt out cable and the alt is constantly...

get a voltmeter and check the wht/blu wire at the alternator. it should have 12 volts with the engine running. also check voltage at the battery with the engine running

wow man that would really suck if after you spent all that money and replaced all those parts it was just a wiring problem. in fact just take your car to a real mechanic before you waste any more...
