Re: 02-06 Crv Lowerd Pictures

I have a 2gen that is lowest I have seen. The 2nd gen has a horribly compromised suspension design based off the already bad civic. It required a lot of custom made and modified suspension...

Re: Steering Audio controls EK4

Cool, you got it working.

You can get another cruise switch and flip to it mount on the other side of the steering. 3 more buttons never hurts.

I hooked up my a/c to the wheel for my accord...

Re: Not as smart as I thought: SRS light on all the time.

Honda srs systems are not smart like Ford and others where the light reset automatically. You need to manually do a reset.

Re: voltage drops to 12.5 when driving

That sounds normal. The alternator is turned down by ecu to conserve fuel. Put a load on and the alternator is put back to full power.

Re: AM reception on different CD player brands

The best AM reception is with oem radios, aftermarket usually could care less about AM. Through the years, I have had on a few occasions not been able to satisfy customers after multiple aftermarket...

Re: just got a second gen crv blank canvas need ideas

The 2nd gen has a horrible suspension design. Expect to make your own suspension parts along with modifying just about everything else if you want it 'slammed'.

Re: How much $ to put your car on bags?

Hondas and air ride needs custom work to drive low. Bolt on setups won't let you drive very low with out sacrificing ride.

Hydraulics work better and ride better if you like it low.

Re: Steering Audio controls EK4

I have added wire to a cable reel before,it is possible. Pop the cover off the cable reel and check how many circuits there are. I bet there are more than are terminated. You will need two, one for...

Re: Driver's priority unlock on power locks

The easiest way is just use an aux to unlock all doors, and unlock wire to do drivers door only.

If you have to have the unlock button do it, you probably can do it with a timer, ground while...

Honda uses a different resistance for each function. They are wired in series.

Re: RSX Radio in a DC Integra? which are the memory wires?

The security wire is a closed loop grounded output to the factory security system. If the radio connector is removed while the security system is armed then security system is set off. This wire has...

There are not any specific fuses for that. It plugs into radio's changer/ bus port. Does it load and eject disc?

Re: T-harness to use OEM radio and head unit

Those harnesses are not fully populated. You are missing the amp/ant turn on, closed loop, and steering wheel control wires.

You need to look at the stock connector and make all the same slots...

Re: need help on honda interactive network module test steering and suspension SSC36

I tried.

To me the questions are worded poorly.

The left front is toed in, so holding the wheel straight will wear the left front. My thought is that if wheel is held straight, it will steer...

Re: need help on honda interactive network module test steering and suspension SSC36

1 pull to right
2 wheel to left
3 wear on inside of both front tires. I would almost say the outside of fronts also.

Re: Alpine TME-M580 video output connector...?

The hideaway box does not appear to do any switching. On top of that you don't have to use it for navigation.

You should be able to just make a din breakout cable. Call Alpine tech and get the...

Re: Double Din Nav/stereo into Civic Optional center console

Those consoles are for older Honda electronics that are supported form the rear. You will need to fab something up since the pioneer mounts from the sides. You will also need a nose trim to fill the...

Re: priming bare metal?

I used PCL DTM my when I painted spare tire well. It seems to have worked ok so far. Stuff is nasty though, you don't want to inhale any of it.

Re: Digital Audio from IPod?

I just looked up a usb connector, it only has 4 pins. For some reason I thought they had more.

With only 4 pins, you need power, ground and data +/-, there would no pins left over. Looking at it...

Re: Digital Audio from IPod?

I don't really know but Alpine uses a single usb and has a 24bit dac built in. That leads to me to believe it is a digital signal.

Kenwood uses usb with a separate audio connector which I always...

Yep, I am thinking the same, pwr, acc ,ground.

The other three, two are cd remote and cd pause. They go to the two empty center pins on the radio connector. On them will switch the radio to the...
