Re: (NJIN BUILDR)

For a street car there are much better choices out there. The amount of tuning and building you will need to make these cams work is IMHO useless unless it is a dedicated track car.

Re: Is 68mm tb too big for B16a??? (2k.civic.si)

Seeing as how I ran a 64mm TB on a built 2.0 with race porting, S2S3 cams, and oversized valves then I woul have to say that it is a severe overkill for your setup.

Re: Is a high-flow cat worth it? (Crono139)

Honestly I think that you will be just as well off running a stock JDM 2.5 collector cat as opposed to a "high flow'" unit. Please understand that I personally feel that high flow cats are only a...

Re: (sheepey)

I remember a time several years ago when every ricer on the planet wanted a spoon motor...looking back on it I suppose it was F&F craze. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsmilep.gif

Exhaust manifold studs?

I just need to know if all B series exhaust manifold studs are the same. a few of the studs pulled out with the nuts on my B16B and I want to replace them with new ones.

Re: Can you accomplish 250whp out of a B18B? (STREETWERKZ)

I'll have to say that Hybrid's car is EXTREMELY impressive. If anyone is goign to break those numbers with an LS its him.

Beastly non-vtec....

Re: Can you accomplish 250whp out of a B18B? (97L-esVeeTeg)

Absolutely not. Matter of fact I don't think a stock bor B18B could break 180 WHP on pump gas.

Re: Civic Type-R pistons and rods, how much horsepower can they withstand. (streetracerof06)

If they will even fit you are goign to run into some problems with valve clearance if I'm not mistaken. The CTR block is taller than a normal B16 block.....actually the CTR is just a destroked ITR.

Lol, check an Acura dealer price for a 98+ ITR longblock and I think you'll shit your pants.

The much touted Spoon motors are in essence a slightly higher compression OE longblock. Not worth...

CTR TB vs 64 MM JG TB?

I'm in the process of pulling my built 2.0 motor out and putting my stock B16B back in. My question is this...since I will have both longblocks out of the car Would it be worthwile to swap the 64mm...
