Re: Hub bearings

If they're brand new, sounds like you obviously haven't put weight on them or even possibly torqued the axle nut, I think you'd be all right to press the hub out and just press it back in when you...

Re: 2006 CRV front Lower Control Arm Removal

You'll have to disconnect the sway bar link and the ball joint from the arm, then remove the 2 bolts that attach the arm to the front subframe, installation is the reverse of removal, then have the...

Re: Official H-T CRV thread!

As far as the diff goes, did you drive it before you changed it? Or did you just drop it and fill? Sometimes we have to dump the fluid, run it in drive in the air for 10 minutes or so, and drop and...

Re: What is the best way to go about lowering an '06 Element?

Thanks mang, I have been doing a bunch of research on this, and EOC didn't really offer a ton of info on lowering, other than to just go the full meal deal KSports or Teins. I don't think this guy...

So, a little background, stock suspension, customer wants to make his Element handle. Doesn't want an aggressive drop, but wants to lower it. He wants to do this in stages- springs, then struts,...

Re: Stuck Slider

If it's your inboard pad, you've got an issue with your caliper piston seal. The twisting action of the seal is what retracts the piston- if it's dragging, it's not your sliders. You're looking at...

Vibration arrrgh

So my teg has a vibration under acceleration. It's intermittent, and really only about between 2-3000 rpm. I've replaced both axles and I know that it's definitely not unheard of to get a few...

Re: Spark plug issue

It's more likely that the tube seals are shit housed. They usually will come in a set with the valve cover gasket. I'm sure the broken studs don't help though.

Re: bad rotors/brakes? need help

Sounds like you have a bolt missing or some shit, get in there and find out what's wrong before you end up having to replace way more than a set of pads and rotors.

Re: How Maintain the Performance of Breakes?

What do you mean by maintain performance? You should flush your fluid about once a year. If you're talking about how to ensure your new brakes will last and perform as they should, a good solid...

What kind of repair are you talking about? There are a lot of components in a braking system, especially one as modern as a typical Honda

Re: ABS sensor?

Hook a scanner up to your OBD port, that will actually tell you which circuit it's having an issue with.

Re: Tire Wear Question

With a good alignment, camber shouldn't be an issue. I've had a bunch of negative camber for a long time and have never really had tire wear problems. Although I have the ability to align my car...

Re: why do my brakes suck?

It's sounds like your squealer tabs are on the rotor, you probably need new pads. If you have brake fluid leaking onto your pads, it can cause that pad to not be able to grab as hard as the other...

Re: Wich car belongs this MAster Cylinder? [Photos Inside]

It's a 1" master, but from the reservoir, I'd make the guess it's from a '02-'05 Civic or Accord. Not sure which years they changed to Findlex masters, so I can't tell you for sure.

Re: Ek Rear Disc Conversion Underway

For what you're doing, I'd just swap the booster and use the rest. You probably want to get 99-00 Si e-brake cables, I've done this swap and the DC cables were a little long on my CX.

Re: Brakes for 95 DX with 15" RPF1.

I'd suggest that you convert to rear disc first, along with a MC and prop valve swap- it's a huge upgrade.

I hear that 15's can clear the Legend dual piston caliper. But you would need DC or EG...

Re: 92 Integra GSR: Oil leak, but from where?

VTEC solenoid gasket, or maybe your distributor o-ring has gone bad, or if they didn't get good silicone coverage on the corners of the cam caps, that can cause a leak as well.
