I think having a lighter flywheel (currently also at 8.5lb for me) is great for daily driving especially when tuned for it. I love my lightened flywheel!

I think you need to get tuned. Your chipped ECU is most likely not at the optimum setup for your current engine. A properly tuned car even if it's just the B18C will also have some significant...

Eventually a powerful car will be a loud car. The more power you free up for the engine the louder it will eventually be; especially for Honda engines.

I am using the koni yellows right now. they are pretty good for my application, I canyon carve a lot and so far experimenting with different settings. With the koni's it is so easy to do that.
