The cap must be bad. Because of the temperature and pressure, there will be "smoke" which is actually steam, but anywho. Make sure the cap is on alllll the way, and then try replacing it. Cheap fix.

its not the dimensions. Its the actual teeth on the axle. The length is the same, considering all else is stock. And abs axles has a gear ring additionally, like I said.
