If going from averaging 22 to averaging 25mpg by changing nothing by the K&N intake is me thinking I've gained but actually lost mpg then I guess you're right. I must be living in upside down...

I'd take the TL. I just can't get used to the Accord coupe.. I own an 09 EXL sedan and totally love my car and the styling. Just wish it had the Coupe 6-6 :)

I installed a K&N air intake on my 09EXLV6 and have had 2-3 mpg increase in mixed driving biased toward highway. Probably about 80% highway.

I was averaging low 22's and now for the last 4-5...

Thanks, it was a tight fit. I fabbed the piping and it wasn't exactly fun. I had to grind quite a bit of the PS bracket off also, but no big deal.

you are right. I've owned it for almost 14 years, so there's no need, or hurry to sell. If the right buyer/trader comes along, she'll go..if not, no skin off my back.

yep, he did it backwards. Should have mounted them from the front, not the back to make up that huge gap.

300F is very high. The hottest I allow mine to get is 230F, then again I don't race. Synthetic oil can withstand 270F from what I've read.

It would be interesting to see oil analysis done after...

if compression is 'perfect', then you've got either valve stem seal problems, or worn guides. (or both)
