I cut off the obd2 plug and soldered on the z6 dizzy plug. there is some wire extending you have to do for the sensors on the intake manifold.( i just cut off all the tape and wire loom and rerouted...

Down pipe is pooh lol only 2 1/4 .And pretty hacked up.
hf manifold with poopy apapter.

I thought the oem systems would be a waste as well i just LOVE how quiet it is.

Running my turbo d16 on stock exhaust right now and i must say its a blast being that quiet. But it is pretty slow over 6000rpm. I really want a stock sound. Just not sure if its going to improve...

no this is not a base map. It is tuned . Base map was on there long enough to verify that the injectors were working and it ran. I then street tuned it .

hard to say . when i got the motor there was no distributer on it and a friend had one lying around . so who knows.

Car runs fine in boost. got 400km on it now daily driving and it seems...

Cool. still concerned that the dizzy is all the way advanced it get to the 16*
Just checked the cam timming and it appears to be fine. I didnt have time to pull the crank pulley but i used a steel...

well when my gun is at 0 its on the middle mark. when i put it to 16 its on the white mark ( i have 2 on my pulley for some reason).

Yea at zero its on the middle mark. at 16 it goes to the white mark but is no pefectly on it.(i do for some reason have 2 white marks for advance)

I did let it warm up . but i will try the iacv...

No i retuned for open downpipe.

I have not put the crappy b&m on cause they kinda suck at times. if i can keep the oem one on then i would prefer that. The fact my AFR got leaner with increased...

Oh i should mention that when i pulled the vac line and psi went to 40 i took it for a drive and for some reason it got leaner almost across the board then it did at 30psi.

Well i will get this out of the way. I have built a fun daily driver d16z6 with boost.
With the stock exhaust on i can tune the car through the rev range (yes it is terribly slow)

With open down...

Just trying to set my base timming before i do my turbo tune. At 0* (middle of 3 marks on crank pulley) my distributor is as far as it can go towards the fire wall.

Dont think this is normal....

The bung i tried to weld into my down pipe has some messed up threads . I kinda need the car for work tomorrow before my wife shots me:) Is it safe to run my wide band in my HF manifold stock...

Ok before i do this. I just want to make the question clear.

Can i thread a 1/8th NPT(not BSPT) into the back of my d16z6 block to use for a turbo feed
