not trying to thread jack, but im have a very similar issue... 92 hatch w/ d15b7 i have coolant dissapearing out of my radiator whie driving with the ac on... i have no visiable leaks, its not...

the thermostat opens at 170°F on our cars.... the cooling fan will kick on when the coolant temp reaches 190°F. if the fan isnt kicking on then you need to check the coolant temp switch for the fan....

there is no orfice tube on our kind of a/c setup... that is what the expansion valve is for.....

do you know if the compressor is cycling? if its not then id check the low pressure cycle switch...

like how stiff are you talking? to the point where you have to put a lot of muscle in it to turn the wheel or just its take a very little effort, but dosent just spin like a top?

the system is already empty due to a hole in the evap core, which is has just been replaced.

im pretty sure your going to need a motor mount kit for the 6th gen car. 98= 6th gen You will also have to convert from obd1 to obd2 because the 98 is obd2 setup

all the clutch setup is diff for 88 than 89-91 you need to get the clutch setup for the 90 flywheel

if you have stock battery cables... replace them... they cant hold the amps from the battery to turn the starter over

about 45-55 bucks new or cheaper from a junk yard... the only thing about getting one from a JY is it could be in worse shape or equal shape to yours due to being the same age

4dr ef thanks for the info... i know the ecu isnt fried because if i push start the car and pop the clutch the car runs fire. I will check the pin b20 to see but the car wouldnt run if the ecu was...

this is OBD 0,the car has rans for 4 years prior to this. i was just adjusting the timing so i know its wired fine. it was just when i went to start it is when i heard the noise and and now its not...
