the car has 130,000 but the timing belt and water pump where replaced at 115,000. I don't think there is any white smoke coming from the tail pipe and I checked the oil and didn't see any coolant...

I'm thinking its the high or low side value where you put the freon in becuase these arn't tested durin the test becuase they are...

It only takes 1 day for the freon to leak out completely. My friend works for audi and I had it vacuum tested his shop and it held a vacuum for like 2 hours with no leak. Any ideas where it can be...

Well I found where it is located(behind the glove box) but when I change it and evacuate the system do I need to replace anything else? I've heard you should replace the drier but is it necessary....

I also had a audi mechanic also tell me about the txv. He said that it might be broken. Is the txv the same thing as the expansion valve? Where is it located on a 98 civic ex?

I don't think there is a leak I think theres something else wrong. Its cold at night and when the car is on the highway but when ever its hot outside or the car isn't moving it doesn't cool at all.

Its not cold but its definatly not hot. I can hold the low side but i can't even touch the high side.

Well been using the jumper wire for about 5 months now and all is good. I never really found out what that starter relay's purpose was.

I've been using a small jumper to by pass the starter cut relay that I just made out of wire to start the car. Mine went bad and its 55 dollars to replace.

Is it safe to just by pass this relay...

how to remove starter soleniod

I got my starter off but how do i remove the starter soleniod. I took of the two nuts that hold on the wire but thats as far as i got.
