Go to a sheet metal shop and have them bend up a flanged insert for you cut out what you did and put the insert in.

I like 5" better than 4.5 disks and blades last longer and you can run any size you want with the gard still on. i think 5" is more common well at least in industrial work it is.

my fav grinder is a makita 9005b or a Walter not cheep but well worth the money.

Has any one tried playing with the Holset VGT turbo's... e range I think they are called ?
I have been googling but I havnt come across any thing saying that any one has used one on a gas engine...

The Ratio is set by the distance of the arm from the pivot point to the shock or the arm. So equal sides is 1 to 1 and unequal would be what ever distance to make the opposite arm half to.

If you tack weld the out side first then weld...

If you tack weld the out side first then weld out inside of a flange first that should eliminate most/ all the of warpage.

I don't do any thing to it, if there is rust on it i just buff it with a wire wheel on my grinder. It shouldn't rust much at all if its indoor, even if you spill water on it.

I have a 2' x 2' 3/4" thick plate I think its AR plate too ? i just slap down on my rolling bench works nice for home stuff.

i think 3/8 or 1/2" plate would work with some flat bar or angle...

Yes you need certification to become a professional welder. No papers = nothing to back you up, stuck with lower wages, basically your a lower class labourer in the real construction/ fabrication ...

I found on my little lincon that light gage stuff works well at "B" voltage with a wire speed of about 2 to 2.5. There is a guide line on the inside of the flip up door on those machines they give...

Pipe is sized in nominal sizes up to 12", 14" and up is OD sized like tubing.
OD of the pipe and tubing will always stay the same the wall thickness/schedule will change the ID of the pipe and...
