Re: D16 Webber Manifold conversion

I threw a D16A1 in my 87 CRX with some dual Mikuni's on a TWM manifold. It was a pain in the ass to get the carbs tuned but i think that was mostly due to my lack of carb knowledge at the time, but...

WTB: JRSC 3 rib pulley

I'm running the stock 4" pulley and i want something smaller for a little more boost. A 3.8 or 3.6 would be perfect. Let me know what you have and at what price. Thanks

Re: nippon pistons?

I wasn't a fan of them, i think there very poor quality. I bought a set of OEM PM7's instead and was much happier.

Re: Any carbureted K-series out there

I probably wouldn't use VTEC with the carb setup, i already thought of that and your right it would be an incredible whore trying to get that right, actually think it would be close to impossible. I...

Re: Any carbureted K-series out there

Is this person on the site to where i could ask him a few questions? I need to pick someone's brain that's done it before. It's not the carb part i'm worried about it's the spark and all that shit....

Re: Any carbureted K-series out there

That would be some excellent info. I really don't want to do EFI for my buggy build, too much cost and hassle involved, carbs seem to be a nice cost effective alternative. Just gotta find some info,...

Re: How many lbs is your ef?

Now i'm not calling you a liar so don't get on the defensive here, just curiosity. So an 89 CRX Si weighs in at 2138 and you say it weighs 1850 with you in it. So for the hell of it we'll say your a...

Re: 88-89 & 90-91 Door Difference??

That and the 88-89 doors don't have bracing making them quite a bit lighter. I swapped 89 doors onto my 91 DX, there quite a bit lighter. I just had to weld in my own seat belt mounts.
