scanning your computer at Honda will not help you out at all. Ask me how I know. Your code is because VTEC is not wired up.

Unplug the connectors you 'added' for vtec and test drive it. I bet...

Code 22 is vtec . Sounds like you got a number of problems. I bet you hooked tach up to VTEC in the engine bay and thats why neither work and you think its prewired. Prewired doesnt mean it has plugs...

honestly.. a CEL isnt telling you to change your oil.. Its showing up for a reason, and usually a fairly serious one. Vtec doesnt work and CEL is on... HMM.. check the code? Nope, Ill just post...

your going to have to buy a new one to have it function correctly. Othewise it wont read knock correctly even if you glue it back together and it quits tossing a code.

its just as obvious as it sounds. You did something wrong and its not lined up correctly. Its probably a very small alignment issue, but its enough to make things difficult.

You should be able to use the stock resistor box easier than one you bought for a dsm unless someone is cunning enough to have made a 'dsm kit' by junk...
