Re: Moran injectors
How much power were you making? I've done 1000HP on E85 with the ID2000s around 70% duty cycle, and the Siemens 220s flow more than the ID2000s by about 300-400CC at the same pressure.
Are you...

Re: Moran injectors
The inconsistency is from the ECU side. These injectors require quite a bit of current and peak time to fire properly. Most people run ECUs with poor drivers that are not adequate for handling this...

Re: crazy boost creep issues
If you have to put 60+mm gate on a manifold for a 6262 to not creep, your manifold is not designed properly.. Plain and simple that's all there is too it.
If you want to test, take the gate...

Re: Why do we run BOVs and burnout in the wrong area?
Having no BOV will cause a HUGE pressure spike when you chop the throttle and can cause distortions in the compressor wheel and damage it in a very short period of time. It can also bend the throttle...

Re: Who Is Running The Really Big Nitrous Set Up
Big motor VS Small motor timing with nitrous is all about power density and total cylinder volume. 1.8L 4cyl at 150shot is about 37.5 HP per cylinder with a perfectly balanced setup. On a 7.0L V8...

Re: How do i plumb and wire in dual MAC valves for boost control?
Yeah once you start bleeding bottom port pressure, whether with a 4port or a 2nd solenoid, control becomes exponentially more difficult and less granular. In that case having an ECU with super fast...

Re: Who Is Running The Really Big Nitrous Set Up

Re: How do i plumb and wire in dual MAC valves for boost control?
Running 2 solenoids is best done with 2 boost control outputs with separate tables. Running 2 SOL with one output, or running a 4 port WILL allow you to run more boost with a smaller spring than a...

Re: Timing numbers for E85?
There is no right anser other than, give the motor what it wants, no more, no less. If you add timing and it makes more power, your not there yet. Its very hard to hurt a motor on E85. And 20deg at...

Re: AFI ramhorn, 6262 and Tial 44mm gate? Common for this setup to creep?
A small restrictor in the exhaust will tame that boost creep down with a minor effect on power at your level. It usually doesn't take much, somtimes just putting a 1/2in to an inch smaller piece of...

Re: AFI ramhorn, 6262 and Tial 44mm gate? Common for this setup to creep?
I've seen properly designed manifolds hold 4psi of boost on 91mm turbos. It IS important. And it DOES come down to manifold design. Problem is people are getting cheap and are buying these $500-700...

Re: AFI ramhorn, 6262 and Tial 44mm gate? Common for this setup to creep?
Manifold design these days is a joke. They are not keeping up with the improvements in turbine efficiency. As the turbines become more efficient, the exhaust wants to take the path of least...
