Re: 1990 Turbo EF Civic Hatchback SI

Re: Tuning Out Oversteer in a FWD Car

Yep. Stop all the analysis until you do this. You're now making adjustments to compensate for a real problem. Surprised it took that long for someone to suggest it.

Re: K20 civic in NASA TTC

Most likely the car you describe will end up in TTB. TTC would be for something like an H2 car, definitely south of 215whp for any kind of reasonable weight. As Scott said, if the engine is not the...

Re: my turbo EG autox/track toy

I was going to mention that the hole in the hood is actually degrading your cooling ability rather than improving it, but looks like you're on the right path to fixing that

Re: WMHM12 - Gingerman Raceway Who Goinz

+1 for Nady, loved mine way more than the Chatterbox I had before, and it was oodles cheaper.

Re: Left Foot Braking

I bolded the important part here. Lose the f*cking attitude or get the boot. You're not better, period, and you are being a douche. When I come back here to check on things because other people are...

Re: Summit Point, NASA-MA April 28-29

Enjoyed watching the HC race, small as it was. Bummed that I couldn't find time to actually hang out with you guys though. Mike, I didn't even see you there. I don't know wtf Sander found time to...

Summit Point, NASA-MA April 28-29

I see six (!) Hondas registered for HPDE1 this coming weekend at Summit. Anyone from here going? Sander and I will be there instructing.

Re: Left Foot Braking

Hmm. I'd have to see that. I never mastered that complex, but was fairly quick. I think I just braked once coming into that outer-curbing area and downshifted there. Got real busy real quick, but the...

Re: Left Foot Braking

Re: Pole Position Raceway - Indoor GoKart Video -GoPro

I realize this is coming ~3 weeks late, but for you and anyone else: DON'T do this! You'll wind up cooking/glazing the shit out of the brakes, and even if they last for you they'll be garbage for the...

Re: Hitting decibel limit. Suggestions?

Interesting. I own a MSP, and it is not what I'd consider all that quiet. Somehow your car actually sounds quieter, though I recognize its pretty impossible to judge without being there and both cars...

Re: Brakes Got a bit tooo hot?! lol

Your brakes will always look like that after a session. However, given the kind of power/speeds you're dealing with, if you plan on continuing with that car you're going to need a big heatsink...

Re: Hitting decibel limit. Suggestions?

1. No one here should be criticizing anyone for their choice of motorsports. It's f*cking stupid and immature. Feel free to consider this a warning.

2.

Not sure if you're serious or not, but...
