Re: recommend a remote start for a 2001 accord ex v6 coupe at (snoopspecial)

I don't know of any one that is compatible with factory alarm as far as starting with the factory remote. I would recommend the Viper, such as the 791VX. I have installed a lot of 790s and 791s...

Re: Kill Switch + Turbo Timer + Remote Start???????? (WildChild)

No problem. Most alarms that have remote start have a kill switch. The turbo timer won't affect it unless you want the alarm to passive arm.

Re: Replacement Throttle Body for 4th Gen (zumiez007)

I bought an H22 TB for mine on Ebay. It works good. I can't remember exactly what I had to do, since it's been a couple years. I think I had to make a new gasket and possibly do some grinding. ...

Re: (AxisAccord)

Perhaps the spring that pulls the hook back is sticking? The only problem is I think you need to open the door to get to the screws that hold the mechanism in place. Have you tried pulling the...

Re: nitrous purge (mac_24_seven)

What you may want to do is pipe it to a section of PVC piped on the other end. Then you can drill holes in hte PVC pipe where you want it to mist. I have done something similar to what you are...

Re: DIY CAI? Anyone? (naoandlata)

Don't forget to reset the ECU, since you are pulling in more air now.

Re: Bored TB on f22a1 (typhoon)

I bought an H22 TB for mine. Works good. There were some slight modifications to get it to fit. Other than that works good. Just remember to reset the ECU afterwards.

Re: (97SOHCF22B2VTEC)

What do you mean rusty sound? If it is knocking/pinging, then using a higher octane fuel can help to bandage the problem. On an old car, it could be the timing is too far advanced, or too much...

Re: (truesleeper)

You can buy remanufactured axles to save time over doing them yourself. I think they are about $60. Also, get the ball joint seperator tool, Autozone will loan you one for free, just need to put a...

Re: 92 EX Failed Emissions test (JDMcb7)

What's the rest of the numbers for both speeds? I have had to deal with this issue many times since I always drive POS cars.

Re: (ZexyAccord)

If you have a dremel tool with a cutoff wheel(or friend with one) use that to cut a groove and use a flat screwdriver to take it off. That is the safe way.

Re: (JDM-EJ1)

Check your timing. I have seen this caused by the timing being too far off(I think advanced?). I'm sure there are other causes as well, such as carbon deposits, etc. But I would make sure your...

Re: need info on headers (typhoon)

They are correct. You will not see more than 5 Hp gain, probably 2-3 if anything over the stock EX. In fact, you would probably see more HP by polishing the exhaust ports before you put the new...

Re: 1991 starting woes (amb4081)

The problem you describe being so intermittent, if I had one guess at it I would say it's the main relay. 2nd guess would be the igniter like someone else mentioned.
