Ignition switch x2. I just had to deal with this on my 97 SH. Don't know about your car, but Accords and Preludes of my generation had a recall on them. Good luck!

Check my sig for mods, too lazy to re-type them...No heat shield on the header, stock cat. The noise also happens at idle (7-900rpm), then fades away around 1200rpm or so. Comes back as described...
