Re: need help picking a amp for my JL audio 10w1v2.4 sub

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=608 with a 10" sub and only 150-250 watts it's not going to be loud enough to rattle stuff, it should just sound good.

Re: Was the salesperson right? Amplifier question.

i've had all kinds of systems, i'm not saying a normal person would hear it, but it is there. I've heard "muddy" bass from d class amps, where all the drums kind of go together. but you are correct,...

Re: Was the salesperson right? Amplifier question.

first, Hifonics and Crunch are made by the same company and the guy was right, D class is a more dirty amp then an A/B class, that's how they gain the effeciancy, just look at the THD numbers.

Re: Perfect little subs

JL has been around forever, but until they win something and make a sub that can handle more then a 1000 watts they mean nothing to the SPL world.

Re: Perfect little subs

You should talk to Rusty, DC Audio's owner, the only time they will sell online is when you don't have a dealer near you.

Re: JL 13tw5

i've never seen a JL sub worth the money they want for them, that being said, go with some kind of 8" sub, the DC Audio LVL2 8" is a great sub, depending on how much mounting depth you have.
