Re: Rattle when car is cold

The Fluidampr appears to be in good shape physically ... So I'm not exactly sure why it's failing to balance the engine.

Re: Rattle when car is cold

Okay guys, I really can't believe it, but the problem is with the Fluidampr. I put the OEM crank pulley on, and all of the problems went away!!! I also noticed there is a slight wobble on the crank...

Icon2 Rattle when car is cold

In the last 2000 miles or so, my B16 has started rattling from the timing belt area. It's a very irregular rattle that sounds like the rattle in a paint can. Above about 2000 RPM's it goes away...

Re: B16 Valve Cover Stud size?

Right, this is not a load bearing stud. IIRC, we're looking at 48 inch/lbs on this guy.

Re: B16 Valve Cover Stud size?

Re: Ran over plastic bag, now axles arent receiving power. (K i l l a B e e.)

I have what I *think* is a JDM ITR PS pump on my B16A2. While it's functional, I feel like the pump is way too...

Re: Crankshaft keyway stripped (rmcdaniels)

Bump from the dead! lol

So I ended up buying an RSX Type-S because I didn't have the time to get the Civic back up and running. Nearly 4 months later, I finally get around to buying a Fluidampr...

Re: Help with B16A2 Crank ... Not original crank? (ninethree-civic)

FWIW, I just replaced the timing belt with a B16A2 belt, and everything lines up perfectly. I rotated the whole assembly twice, and everything still lines up.

Re: Crankshaft keyway stripped (rmcdaniels)
