Personally I would try and sell the ITR. It is getting up there in miles and while a fun car, isnt irreplacable. You seem to favor the s2k already and it seems to be in mint condition so why not hang...

I had an NGK plug in cylinder 3 do the same thing to me on summit main, car fell flat on its face. I expected the worst but the scope didn't show anything and after putting new plugs in the car ran...

did your pads have the two tabs on the backing plate? if not thats why your pads are fitting incorectly, the spoon caliper requires those two tabs to properly set the pad in the caliper.
