Re: GSR build, opinions on clearances please.

Am I the only one looking at the bearing clearances and thinking that a decimal place is off?

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

Mine usually runs 30-40* over ambient while cruising around. But I can easily put it 200+ within a few seconds of ripping through gears or a high load/high rpm pull up say a mountain pass

Re: NGK IRIDIUM Issues with Hondata CPR?

I've always just used the coppers. 4644 for heat range of 7. Not sure what a heat range 9 would be. That seems like a pretty cold plug. And when you say "issue" what issue are you having exactly?

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

Why not? Forced induction application, I don't have any dyno proof but I would bet money that a 3" would gain power at all RPM vs a 2.5" or even a 2.36"

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

You need a bunch of stuff. Tensioners, alternator pulley, belts. That's pretty basic. Have you already purchased this ?

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

I run a stock fuel rail and I don't remember having to do anything special with my setup.

I might have asked this before but is ethanol fuel not available for you guys? It was a no-brainer for me...

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

R I feel you with the frustration, I still would contact them to fix it so you can at least attempt to recoup some of the money out of the project.

Also that those WHP numbers, is that on 91?

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

I run a 3" from the header collector back. It's annoying. If I could go back I would run a Apexi WS2 and sacrifice power for sound

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

I have a buddy that uses a borg EFR on a b16b for an auto x car, it's pretty mean. I think if you go with a properly sized turbo setup it would destroy a jrsc, especially on a longer track. The...

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

Nope straight out of the pump. Tested 82% if I remember right. I don't think I'd be able to get away with 91 because of how hot my IAT's get

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

Wasn't trying to boast, what I'm saying is 1000's have stock idle quality and will handle any power you'll ever make with this JRSC. And in my case, I will be doing a turbo build soon so now I can...

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

Why not just buy 1000's and never have to worry about it again? IMO I'll never buy an injector smaller than a 1000 if I'm upgrading over stock

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***

I run a pc680 Odyssey with K/O fan, never had an issue

That's a crazy lightweight battery. 2 1/2 lbs and still has 270 CCA> The PC680 is like 15 lbs and only 170 CCA
