I am having the same problems out of my '91 dx...

I am having the same problems out of my '91 dx rex! I've changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, main relay, and drained the fuel tank. Please help us with this annoying problem!

yep, when in neutral my car can go vtec, if youve got a vafc (i do) or anything that interupts the vtec signal, it will overide the computer and will hit vtec anytime you reach the set rpm...

if i were you i would change your vtec point back to stock untill you can get some tuning time with a wideband. if you change your tec point without adjusting your fuel maps, your computer isnt going...

Learning Throttle Position on VAFC d16z6

How do i go about getting the vafc to learn my throttle position? also, when i do the sensor test, im reading like 1.5v which doesnt fit into either of the 2 settings. please help...

my tps works fine, i believe that i did do all of the steps correctly but there were a couple of steps i wasnt positive of. setting the throttle sensor type...

if im not mistaken, it is 2* of CRANK timing for every mark on the cam gear. The crank rotates at twice the speed of the cam which then you would divide the degrees of the crank by 2 giving you 5...
