Check your oil level. When it gets too low it won't allow it to go over 4K. I had the same problem several months ago.

I have a 98 accord LX 5 spd. Around 90k mi. My check engine light came on. It ended up being the O2 sensor.
First step would be code readings.

Thanks for the replys. It was actually the mass air flow sensor. I took it out and sprayed some compressed air over it and reset my ECU. I drove the car for about 30 mins after I did this. The check...

I've got a 98 Accord LX 5 speed. When I try to rev the engine over 4000 RPMs it stalls out like it was at the red line. This happens after driving the car about 10 mins or so. If I turn the car off...
