REbuild or replace?

The GSR has 240k miles on it, time to redo the suspension. I already changed the shocks with all new mounts, bushings etc...It rides good but still creaks on big bumps. Probably the upper control amr...

Suspension overhaul

97 GSr has 240k miles on it, I rebuilt the engine so now its time to overhaul the suspension, it creaks constantly. I think my springs have sagged a little bit cause my camber is like .1 degrees...

Seems like changing the PCV valve has stopped the tapping. The old one was faulty, it was letting air go both ways. This time i spent 20 bux at the dealer instead of 4 bux at pep boys.

Its not very loud, if youre inside the car, you could barely hear it. youd have to know what youre listening for, and it only seems to tap at idle, if i rev it up to 1500 sound disappears.

Nippon gsr pistons, .25 oversized. I dont think its piston slap, the pistons were a tight fit in the cylinders.

In the back? No idea when they were changed last. I have put 30k miles on the car since I bought it. Good to know that its most likely the pads, i might change the rotors too.

ITs got a lot of miles on it, I currently use Castrol GTX high mileage 10-40.

No, it has less than 50k miles. My buddy threw a rod so we put in a jdm engine. This IACV came off of the d15b. Its CLEAN, low mileage, and the same one as the USDM.

Got the following parts from a 2000 dx civic

Cylinder head - w valve cover, spark plug wires - $30

Oil pan - in good shape, comes with hardware $25

TPS - $10

Map - $10

upper. Changed it out, had to take off the crank pulley and timing covers.
Since I had to do that I went ahead and changed the timing belt and switched to usdm crank sprocket for Crank Fluctuation...

Mine is a 99, so its not for the eg chassis, maybe thats why the difference.

Looks like the driverside mount is different on the JDM model.
Do i need to take off the valve cover, to get the timing cover off?
Does the bottom cover need to come off?

WEre taking apart a 2000 civic 5spd transmission to replaces the isb.
Upon seperating the houseing 3 ballobearings fell out, just loose balls that were chilling there.

Where do they come from?...
