The flaw is that the air inlet grille at the base of the windshield lets water flow through right onto the wiper motor. In certain very wet conditions it flows across the motor bracket and a vent...

Better find out was it factory or aftermarket moon roof. USDM hatches didn't have a sunroof option from the factory so either it's a Canadian model or was installed by someone other than Honda.
