Re: b18c5 not running

Actually I came on here for a different thread that I was linked to and decided to check threads here and see if I could help that guy. I wouldn't have added that line if it wasn't for all the...

Re: b18c5 not running

Not the best way to test it. It's bad for the alternator. Not saying that I haven't done so.. but testing equipment (dmm to check voltage will show if it's that bad... full test to see amperage)...

Re: b18c5 not running

Ignore all the "wahhh it's not an ITR chassis" whiners.

1. Is there a CEL?
2. Have you checked spark at each plug? Do so by taking the plugs and then (one at a time) place the center electrode...

Re: Cars For Sale: Integra TYPE-R's - Sept/Oct 2013

I might have a few somewhere from years ago.. doubt it though.. from what I remember the story didn't hold water (no pun intended) as it was registered in 97 or 98 in Texas and flooded there... zero...

Re: Cars For Sale: Integra TYPE-R's - Sept/Oct 2013

Wow you still have that thing?

Any changes since I last saw it 6 years ago? I'm assuming this is the one in Clearwater based on the story.

Current price?

Re: For folks trying to find a car as "fun" as the type-r

Mmm I love sporks. Best invention ever.

2003 Dave? Damn I was nice back that, I thought I was much grumpier these days. I didn't realized I regressed to being nice :(

What years did you win...

Re: For folks trying to find a car as "fun" as the type-r

Or, just own both. That's the route I took. Been just over a year with the BRZ, and besides the direct injector seal failure looming over my head if I keep beating it's ass on track, I love the car....

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

Yep. Only those within a few hours of Mid Ohio get any real benefit of a Sa/Su event, everyone else just has to take one extra day, or could leave early on day 2, or on a 2 day + drive it breaks...

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

Totally depends.. see normally I make a vacation out of it and take off 6-8 days from work, so my trips normally consist of a bunch of stuff besides expo (like this year, side trip to Indy, 6 or so...

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

That post was more well written then the previous ones. Certainly I understand waiting to spend vacation with the little ones instead (at Cedar Point though not that Disney crap!!! :) ). The rest I...

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

Years of the same stuff gets a little old :) I understand the location thing for the WC guys, totally get it. I'd still LOVE to see a WC expo but the WC guys have never stepped up when we tried. I'd...

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

Ahh the vacation post... I love these :)

For all but local guys, it's really not that much different.

If you have 1 day of travel, you have to take off 3 days instead of 2. If you have 2 days...

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

Nothing against the DC/Mid-A people, but Slummit did a good job at nearly fucking us over in 2004, so the odds of us ever working with them are pretty slim.

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

Dave, seriously? Owning an ITR has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with going to Expo. I've been to Expo... 11 times now. I've had an ITR at 2 of them.

Expensive? $395 for two days at Mid Ohio? You use...

Re: What is stopping you from signing up for Expo?

Seriously? I drive PAST your state on the way.

I understand that for those who haven't been to one of these that the location may seem to be an issue. The fact that everyone who has is thinking...

Re: Is it dead in here?

Ha. I only visited here because of your post in RR forum :)

Some stuff is wrong for sure. ITR is definitely more raw and, in some areas, more fun to drive. But having to get the keys out of the...

Re: Is it dead in here?

Too much work to bother pulling the ITR out for me. It'll be for sale in early 2013 without question.

BRZ/FRS forum is active, a number of old and ex-ITR guys there. BRZ is also easier to get out...

Re: Got shammed by Dr. DC2 on an SRS wheel :(

Let's at least give him some credit. At least he did (or claims) ship the airbag and a hub. It doesn't make up for the horrible condition of the wheel and the BS associated with the transaction...
