I would think that lowering your car would only affect the warranty on your suspension, unless you go for a crazy drop that may help damage other components.

I was gonna go lower but wanted to avoid the hassles since this car will be driven in the winter. As it sits it's lowered with eibach prokit springs and KYB AGX and the ride is still comfortable,...

I'd still give the dealer a shot first and save yourself the headaches, I stripped my key and the dealer took them off for free I just had to buy a new set.

If you're installing in a 2 door have fun! You pretty much have to remove everything from the doors back, including your whole seats, the panel that covers your tailights, its a real pain.

Have you noticed if it makes that sound at a certain rev. Have someone rev the engine while you look under the car. That might help you find the prob.
