Re: NOISE after rear disc brake swap (Echo7847)

The noise goes away when I am turning Right so it must be the passenger side wheel bearing. Good stuff Echo! Thanks, Brian

Re: NOISE after rear disc brake swap (idriveadelsol7)

There is no clicking or clunking, just sounds like a constant noise that gets louder the faster you go. Probably loudest around 65mph. Sounds like I have mud tires on there. This may be a stupid...

NOISE after rear disc brake swap

I put 99 Integra brakes all around on my 99 EX and now it is super loud! I got an alignment and the tires seem to be wearing fine. The brakes don't seem to be dragging. If I am turning Right at...

Re: front discs in the rear? (Train)

I wouldn't even go there. The calipers on the front are much bigger for a reason. They'll lock up your rear wheels in a heart beat as the majority of the weight is transferred to the front of the...

Re: (96coupe)

Teg calipers have a 7mm bigger piston (57mm vs 50mm) and bigger pads. They bolt right up to the EX rotor. By the way, all Teg brakes are the same except ITR.

Re: Would you trade 15" rotas for a Front and Rear SI brakes? (Spade)

99-00 si front brakes are exactly the same as 96-00 ex. Check the part #s. Upgrade calipers off 94-01 Teg onto ex or si rotors. They bolt right up.

Re: (Mako_)

If you have an EX you only need the front calipers. The rotors are the same.

Re: (jdm civic 2000)

Yeah my alignment was way off after I did mine. Strangely my front was off more than my rear (and I only changed the calipers). ??

Re: Does it matter what order you install your brake lines into the prop valve? (slut)

I assume you're considering plugging them in differently than they're meant to be plugged in?

Re: true or false on perportioning valves (jdm civic 2000)

Wow, good info. I did the Teg rear and front swap on my 99 EX and haven't replaced the prop valve yet. No problems yet but I do hear the rears may wear faster. I wonder why the Dx and Si are the...

Re: won't go into reverse (-R-)

Try letting the clutch out a little bit and see if it slips in. That's what I do with mine.

Re: Integra Ls Master Cyl vs. Civic Si Master Cyl. (EVIL_Vap133)

I've heard the Teg MC/BB have the brake lines coming in slightly differently than the Si/EX. I'd stick with the Si/EX set up. (The EX is the same as the Si, check the part #s.)

Re: (SPOON_BeIgHtEeNsEe)

I realize this is an older post but I just got my 99 ctr grill from jdmshit.com and it doesn't fit exactly flush. Close but not exact. Just wondering if this is typical or if I did something wrong...
