I did a compression test and all the cylinders were in the 180's. What could be the cause for the crazy high idle?

I picked up a 89 DX hatch with a B8 block and a b2/b7 head, still dpfi. First, I have adjusted the valves and checked the timing, and everything seemed spot on. I have also tried multiple iacv's...

You may have too high of a fuel pressure now if you did the 255lph walbro. That happened to me when I installed a 255 walbro. I had to do the trick where you drill through the regulator to lower...

Actually I think I found it. I think it is the a/t lock solenoid.

I have the exact same car and mine has just recently developed this rough idle. I know that mine has a blown head gasket and I thought his may be causing the rough idle. I'm in for some more...

I agree with Black, it sounds like an 02 sensor problem. I would check that first.

One way to do it is use a heat gun on the plastic right before you try to pull them out to loosen it up some. But like crx si-r, the best way is to remove from under the dash.

I can't remember...

I'm talking about rewiring from the relay to the tank. Mine kept blowing the alternator solenoid fuse.

I was having the same problem. I just put in a walbro and a new tank. It kept blowing the alt. solenoid fuse, so I put a relay in for the fuel pump and that fixed that problem, or so I thought. ...

I just installed a walbro 255lph in my b16 crx this past weekend and my car is running like poo as well. Did you rewire the fuel pump as well? I'm in for some information.

As far as I know, the fuel pump is still the stock pump. I have ordered a walbro so hopefully that will fix my problem.

Let me know if anyone has had a problem similar to this and let me know...
