Re: 2001 honda civic EX - How do i remove the passenger seat? (civicslicker)

Only way I know is to remove the 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor. Make sure you get the electrical connections under the seat (seatbelt indicator) before you lift the seat out.

Re: ... simple question on EM civic .... 70mph in 5ht @ 3,000rpm? (Charlie Moua)

Your numbers are correct. I have both a manual and an auto 01, the manual has shorter gears. Gives it that more "sporty" feeling I guess.

Re: 2001 Civic EX odd noises (happy_man21)

Have you changed the timing belt, done a valve adjustment, replaced spark plugs lately? If not, the engine may not be running that well. Just a possibility.

Could also be alternator, or the clutch...

Re: Anyone datalogging with Innovate LM1? (BlueShadow)

You're right about the RPM converter. It has a few inputs for datalogging. The AuxBox is made to be more of a permanent solution.

As for watching the datalog live, you can watch a gauge setup on...

Re: How To Change Bulbs on '02 Civic HX (puffidredz)

There is a bolt on the side under the bumper cover, and two under the headlight. You're better off taking the battery out to change your bulbs than removing the lamps.

Re: question bout deck removal on 2001 civic coupe (xjrv425x)

Pull the pocket below the radio that has the cigarette lighter, there will be two screws in the dash holding the bottom of the radio panel. Unscrew those, pull radio panel out.

Re: Where to get replacement rubber power steering lines for prelude? (bubs)

Check with industrial hose manufacturing places. I don't know what is around where you live, but here Midwest Hose does anything from hi pressure rubber lines to stainless steel stuff with just about...

Re: 01 civic ex not starting when cold. (HXvtec)

Check the spark plugs. Just unscrew the 10mm nut on the coils, unplug, and lift, the spark plug is under there. Helps if you take off the black cover over all the wiring on the valve cover, easier to...

Exactly what is done on my setup. Never had a problem. I mounted the nipple on the charge pipe, ran a vacuum line, stuck the IAT sensor into the line, clamped everything down, and it's been good.

Also check the black plastic piece around the windshield wipers, see if...

Re: 2001+ Civic D17 Turbo Kit (snoochtodanooch)

The stock ECU controls the stock injectors that are still on the car, so all you tune is the 1 additional injector, takes a good tuner around an hour to do.

You can't run Hondata for the D17's,...

Re: 2001+ Civic D17 Turbo Kit (snoochtodanooch)

The Edelbrock vtec control will not work on a D17. My injector is a 460, more than enough for 10psi which is where the stock fuel pump gives out anyways. The D17 is a coil on plug ECU driven...

Re: 04 Civic SE doesn't want to start! (civictildeath)

It's the ignition relay.

But that doesn't matter, it's under warranty. It's Honda's problem, and your friend should get a loaner car.
