Re: obd1 code reader/scan tool

You need the HIM (Honda Interface Module) that I linked to and the Honda software in order to get the type of info that your OBD2 reader displays for your OBD1 honda. With that setup then you can...

Re: De-Rice my Civic SI

Did you take in account for the speedometer being off since the car has the improper tire size on it?
I'm not trying to say that you're wrong, I've gotten a 42mpg average tank out of my '98 GSR but...

Re: EG Foglights + bumper frustration

you have to cut certain parts of the foglight pockets out in order to fit the fog lights in your bumper.

Search for the installation here on H-T, should be easy to find.

Re: OE Honda 7-spoke 4x100 13" white wheels, ID?

Yours is the second CRX HF that I've ever seen them one. Looks like they only came in white and on white 88 CRX HF's, lol. the OEM coating is pretty tough! took me two tries with aircraft stripper ,...

Re: OE Honda 7-spoke 4x100 13" white wheels, ID?

Those are optional rims available through Honda for the 88 CRX HF. I had some on another 88 CRX HF in the junkyard when I worked there. They are very light rims and make for excellent Ice Race...

Re: timing problem d15z1 swap

D15Z1 motors only like to run on the OEM NGK V-Power ZFR4F-11. Other plugs, especially iridiums will run like junk and misfire.

Re: Radiator Screw?

I've never seen a screw in that location in my life on a Honda before. Never seen it in the parts diagrams from the dealer either.

The radiator is held in place by that peg and rubber grommet,...

Re: JDM D15B7 swap sucking on gas mileage...

Do a compression test with the engine up to operating temp and the throttle wide open. Then post the results here.

Some JDM motors may have fewer miles on them but are beaten to hell and not...

Re: Stock EG Hatch ?'s

with gas prices expected to rise again this summer, it would be wise to leave the motor alone and sell it stock. Depending where you live and how well the body was repaired, you may be able to get...

Re: Are these OEM foglamps?? New-in-Box!

I don't know if you noticed, but those are for a four door civic. Are you going to try to put them on your hatch?

Re: Need help with clutch fluid leak *PICS*

^^Quoted for truth!

And the leaking on the linkage is going to require changing out the trans shift linkage seal...not exactly a fun one to do, but can be done.

Re: How to replace rear wiper on EG hatch?

You just slide out the rubber blade part and get a refill replacement and slide the new one in. There should be a little metal tab that pinches onto the rubber to keep it from sliding out.

Re: d16 int. manifold on d15... does it work?

You're not going to want to put a Z6 intake manifold onto a VX motor though. It'll make it lose power and drive slower.

The D15Z1 (VX) intake ports are about the size of a 50 cent piece and the...

Re: boosterless master cylinder

The whole idea of having a brake booster is so you don't need to use so much foot pressure to stop the car.

If you want to see what it's like to run booster-less, just unplug the large vacuum hose...

Re: Gas Tank Location

You can just go to the dealership and ask for the "LATCH" anchors for your car. Your car is already set up to install the special anchors for your child seat.

No need to drill through the floor...
