Broken flange in mid exhaust pipe.

I have a broken flange in my B pipe. The place where the exhaust gasket (to muffler) would normally sit is completely rusted out. As you can imagine, there is exhaust leak. The B pipe is discontinued...

there is a difference between rather the engine crank or not. If it doesn't even crank, then it is probably not distributor, so changing the cap and rotor won't help any.
