When I wreck again, hmmmm.....is this who I think it is? If so -...

Re: (bad-monkey)

Yes - the woodcraft rearsets should be here today. Tomorrow will be the double bubble windscreen, crg levers, new grips, bar ends, sliders, tank grips, K&N filter and the Astar GP pro gloves.

Re: New go fast goodies!!!!!! (EngineNoO9)

It will be street/track for the time being. I've only ridden one day since the track and that was to the DMV with needle nose vise grips for a front break and no right peg / rear brake.

That...

Re: New go fast goodies!!!!!! (EngineNoO9)

Re: New go fast goodies!!!!!! (LAS2K)

I most definitely did not "tell them otherwise".

I told them the track I was at and the sanctioning party. I assured them that there were no lap times, no positions at the end, we had class room...

It looked...

Re: $3500 to spend on my bike....what would you buy? (GSpeedR)

I can sand and paint the fairings for $100 myself - I've done it before and it came out fine so I'm not willing to drop $500+ on a set of cheap plastics.

I do want to track the bike, just not...

Re: $3500 to spend on my bike....what would you buy? (hybridcrx)

What most of you don't seem to realize is that I'll still be riding this bike on the streets. So while I'm not overly concerned about it looking "beautiful" I don't necessarily want it to look like...

Re: $3500 to spend on my bike....what would you buy? (Mr.Chow)

Didn't used to be a track bike.

Took my bike to a track day, lowsided around a turn, called my insurance company and explained to them what happened and they said they'd cover it. There were...

Re: $3500 to spend on my bike....what would you buy? (EngineNoO9)

I was "tracking the bitch" when I wrecked it and I have every intention of tracking it more once it's back up and running, hence all the performance parts rather than replacing the rashed plastics.

$3500 to spend on my bike....what would you buy?

I probably won't spend it all, but I'm trying to decide what the best bang for the buck would be.

Currently I'm pretty set on the following:

New gloves as mine have holes in the them from the...

Re: FV-QR (DirtySol)

That would be my guess. As you can see (or maybe not) the frame/swing arm never touched the ground. I was taking a right turn and was on my knee hard - so the bike only fell a few inches. Slid for...

Re: Pics of my "totaled" bike - need your help!!!! (Starscream)

This shop is the closest I'm going to get to a shop I trust. I've only dealt with them a couple times but they're really good guys. They assure me the frame is straight - it's just the rear upper...
