Smithcraft, the mechanism isn't hard to replace. It took more time to get the door card off than it did to replace the entire mechanism. I got it from RockAuto and everything bolted up/lined...

It's not that it's lighter, it's that the weight is lower in the chassis. But yeah, the 13b's transmission is heavy and the engine is pretty temperamental.

True, they are much stiffer than the Spec Miata kit, but that kit isn't oversprung, it's underdamped. I've been going through my video archives of my car with the SM suspension with 450lb/in springs...
