Re: Restoring My old RedLine ProLine Expert BMX

Man, these old bikes are bringing back the memories. I still have my Speed Series Team, which I coincidentally dug out of storage to clean up. If I remember correctly, I bought it new in '97, rode...

Re: 1994 Honda Civic HB - Part Identification

94eg! is correct. It took me a few minutes to find it on my '92 Si. It's mounted ~3 inches higher than the two brackets that secure the lower dash.

This is the side nearest to the drivers door. ...

Re: 1994 Honda Civic HB - Part Identification

I'll take a look when I get home today. I just stripped the interior out of my '92 DX hatch and all of the parts are scattered around my garage. I also have a complete '92 Si that we can compare it...

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today

Yeah, I think I'm just going to cut the battery support as low as I can and then try to weld a nut onto what's left of the bolt. If I have to drill it out, I suppose that's fine too. At least it's in...

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today

I got the project car almost stripped down to the bare shell for body work and paint. I just need to have the windshield and rear side glass removed and figure out how to remove the battery support...

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build

I tried to stop by when you guys were over there, but there was already a big group of people circled around and I didn't want to interrupt. :) The CHD meet is a lot of fun and it's pretty much the...

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build

The car looked as good as ever. That Midori Green hatch was on point as well, if that's the same one that was with you last year. You guys had a nice lineup at the show.

Re: Need to replace rear motor mount 2000 Accord MT

It will be the same process even with a manual transmission.

I replaced my rear motor mount last year while I was swapping in a new transmission and replacing the rear main seal, so I already had...

Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today

I would say the body is in reasonably good shape. The doors are a little wavy and there's a very minor dent in the passenger side quarter panel. Other than that, it's rust free and in pretty good...

Re: Latest ITR Setup - In Car Audio

I've always loved the sound of B16's and ITR motors with just some bolt ons.

You should bring it to the Classic Honda's on the Dragon meetup in October.

Re: PSU's 1997 Civic Dx

It's nice to see you starting another build. The car looks really clean for the mileage. I'll be following your progress.

It's also cool to see the D.A.R.E plate still in use. I have...

Re: H22A

Does the intake manifold have dual stage runners, or are they single stage?

Dual = Prelude Type S
Single = Accord/Torneo Euro R or CH1 Accord Type R (H22A7)

Re: What used to go here in this spot? 94-97 Accord

If 5th gen Accord's were available with automatic climate control somewhere in the world, that's probably where the cabin air temperature sensor and aspirator tubing were mounted to.

My '97 CL has...

Re: Power Steering Leak

I don't think you'll have much downtime. I rebuilt my power steering pump for the first time this last spring. It probably took me ~4 hrs to complete working slow and careful. I regret not replacing...

Re: The Cost of Golden Era Hondas

Good discussion

For about a year now, I've been on the hunt for an EG shell after being out of golden era Honda's for over 15 years. When you're scraping the bottom of the barrel like...

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build

That's awesome that you got your duckbill back. I still have a JHP carbon fiber duckbill in my closet which I would have purchased in the '01 or '02 time frame. The quality of that thing left a lot...

Re: What generation is my b16a

The head is stamped "90", so it's a 1st gen B16.

Re: Brake Part Identification PLEASE!

It's the reservoir for the ABS modulator.

The part number for the reservoir is 57019-ST5-000 (https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda~tank~set~reserve~57019-st5-000.html).

The part number...

Re: One car newb here!

Search "G22 build" or "G23 build" here on the forums. It should make it easier to find information related to F series blocks with H series head.

Re: danteisme's 1996 DB8-Found and Rebuild Thread

Awesome work :) It's gotta feel good to look back at all that work and see how it has all paid off. I've been working on a similar project with a '97 2.2CL. The story behind it has some similarities...

Re: 90-02 Accord Picture Thread

Not an Accord, but pretty damn similar.

I've just finished up replacing my old and oily M2S4 transmission for a T2T4. While working on the transmission, I also replaced a lot of new seals and...

Re: ABS motor dead. Options?

I went through this about a year ago with my '97 2.2CL. Rather than try to tackle this project myself, I took it to an independent shop that specializes in Honda's. They were able to get the ABS...
