Looking into buying this car.
When i took a look underneath the car. I found this on the rear drive side. Does this look like its been repaired?

I only noticed this on the drive side..

I've tried those Apps. They're fun for a couple of time but not 100% accurate.

County Clerk can't check anything if they don't have anything to run in their database. ie this bad vin in pic..

Even if the picture is worth 1 word.. It clearly shows there is a 53 not a 9 as carfax suggests..

Definitely a copy..

Even if it is a B16 tranny. That is not a Honda Vin.. Heck that is not even a valid vin.. I can only guess its a LS tranny.. I can't...

what baffles me is. you can see the rest of the 14 digits.. The first 3 digits of the vin are same for all SIs.

So should i stay away from this car? I'm confused now..

don't want an LS tranny.. that is the only possibility i can think of what the real tranny would be..

I'm looking into buying this GSR. The guy says its a B16 tranny.. But that vin plate is very confusing.. Never seen anything like that before, is it common to have a fake vin plate like that?

Yeah that is what throwing me off as well. I tried all combinations as the first 3 digits, and making sure total of 17 digits.. carfax or google don't recognize any combinations..

Also head stamp?

google comes back with majority of B series stuff, or Block stamp.

That is the engine stamp (type of block). I'm looking for engine manufacturing date (when the head was made)

Those are not real mileage for the car. He is a fraud.. Trying to cheat people.
