doesnt vw use switched ground for their electronics? and honda switched hot. how did you work that out? also... what cluster do you use as many of the vws use a cable for the speedo

so cut the vin off your old dash and put it on the new one. its not that big of a deal. I have done this dash swap for 12 people, and NO ONE has had ANY problem.

I am about to undertake this swap again in my new RHD eg6... this time I am going to use the entire rhd ITR half cut... this way I can use the integra heater core FTW

well DUH!!!.... a lot changes in 5 yrs... but an H22 in an EG is still a very potent swap... I'd do it again, but would probably go H2B this time

i did the physical fitment in about an hour, wiring took aobut 6 hrs the way i did it. but once again, everything worked.

the wiring part required the most attention to detail... when i did mine, i metered it all all to make sure where all the wires went on both harnesses. then i put the civic fuse block plugs on the...

BWAHAHA, the first guy didn't even finish yet, year and a half later, and the second guy sold his because he didn't finish it.

that should be enough of a reason not to do it.

think of it this way.

How much money per hour do you make at your job?

you will be spending a few hundred hrs doing this conversion at least.

calculate it out.

your hourly wage x...
