When I bought them I was told they are the road race version. I'm not sure if that translates into any particular stage.

I have a rebuilt b16 trans with an mfactory helical lsd and carbon syncros if you're interested. Rebuilt by English Racing and has less than 3,000 miles on it. Pretty bulletproof and no issues...

That would a ton of fun on a road course. I make 220 in my h22 and it is a blast, but another 30 HP and 50 lb/tq would be even better!

I think you need to budget at least $10k if you want something that can have any chance of hanging with a vette or other similar cars. $5k can get you a used track/race car but it probably won't have...

Just run the b18b until she blows and then swap the R in. The LS motor has more than enough power to learn on and to get you in trouble.

I don't have the pan baffled and haven't had an issue so far. I just add an extra half quart of oil and have a low pressure warning light wired to my oil pressure gauge. Doesn't mean I shouldn't have...
