Re: (Weston)

Sure I was less mature when I was younger - The difference would be that I don't put people down for doing things I was just as guilty for doing.

I would argue you are no more mature now than you...

Re: (Weston)

Every time I see a thread where Weston is claiming to be "hard core" and/or "superior" than the Street racer types I laugh...

Cause I remember back on honda-acura when he used to post all the time...

Re: How much compression do I need??? (88 rex)

Do some searches on dynamic compression

Guessing aproximate numbers, or basing it off what fuel you will run is not going to net you the most power.

You need to find out how much the valve is...

Re: (badboypolar2)

From what I hear it isnt even balanced by itself very well from the factory.

Tbone noted that his had to have 3 holes drilled in it before it was balanced.

Re: I'm trying, really. But I just don't get it. (steverife)

I used to be on the same side as most of the people here. I thought drifting was some goofy trend, instigated by Inital D. I thought most of the people who wanted to drift, were just trying to be...

Re: (ssrcx94)

Actually, black radiates heat more than any other color. (Also absorbs more, but I doubt that the ambient air is going to be hotter than the IC itself).

So it is possible that if it isn't...

Re: Velocity Stack Flow Analysis (DX4U2NV)

That is weird that the prototype racing stack seemed to amplify the "AEM Hump" compaired to the ebay one?

You say the intake lengths were the exact same?

Re: (adictionbass)

You'd be better off just stripping off the paint/body glue and seam welding the interior.

It won't add as much weight, be as noticable, and it will probably make a bigger difference.

Re: TLC- Trick Lightweight Crankshaft...ultimate BLING BLING that PERFORMS!! (PocketRockets Racing)

Any reason you didn't remove material from the whole counterweights vs just the edges?

Seems the rough texture would incourage oil sticking to it.

Re: Why the power loss? (hybridmiklo)

Spoon TB is 70mm, way too big
A hollowed cat is still only 2" inlet and 1.8" outlet, way too small

Not enough compression for stage 2 cams
