Re: Awesome welder/cutter for home use

Just an update on the unit. It's been working great for me so far. Had some fun with the plasma cutter tonight. Any guesses what I might do with a cut out section of stock sleeve?

Re: Awesome welder/cutter for home use

Fair enough. I can't rate the quality of the welder against professional welding equipment, but for someone like me, finding a product that actually works at this price point is pretty awesome. I...

Awesome welder/cutter for home use

I've always wanted to learn how to weld but the cost of buying a welder has always been a bit prohibitive. However, I recently found a company that sells really inexpensive welders that in my...

Just thought I'd update this thread with my latest progress. I ditched the old 3" exhaust and went with a new 2.5". Check it out.

Re: ***KiddRACING "Krusher" K20 Header- RSX/EP3/EM2

This header made really easy power over my Borla. No tuning aside from adding +5% fuel across the board. No cam angle tweaks, no ignition. There's definitely more power to be had. Always good to...

Re: My K20 rebuild

Long time no update. Motor has crossed 3k miles, no issues to speak of. I've kind of held off on really dialing in the tune because I'm still waiting on the Hytech header, which will go on with a...

Re: Congrats to Chunky- 3 Years in the making............

Dyno is in MPH b/c the rpm pickup was being problematic. Torque graph is also absent b/c it was choppy.

VTEC is at 5000rpm, but I could have set it as low as 4500rpm with no loss in midrange. It...

Re: Congrats to Chunky- 3 Years in the making............

Exhaust cam is at neutral.

haha, If the Hytech takes me to 250, that will be one hell of a freaking header. I don't think it can do it without the manifold though.

Thanks!

Re: Congrats to Chunky- 3 Years in the making............

It was about damn time I got that record. There's a more power in this motor once I have time to shake through some of the finer details. I did 16 pulls total tonight, and not all of them were for...

Re: My K20 rebuild

Yeah, the K2 Mark III cam profile is quite different on both the primary & VTEC lobes. Piston slap isn't bad at startup. No noise once the engine is warm.

Finally got around to doing some street tuning. The K2 Mark III primary map looks totally different from what I'm used to seeing on the old iron core K2 maps. There's a lot more fuel going in as...

Re: My K20 rebuild

Unfortunately, the specs I am aware of are meant to be under wraps for now. I do have the first consumer set so I think it's best to let the results speak more loudly than the specs.

Here's a...

The functional difference is that the K2 Mark III are designed for high compression 2.0L motors. They're the natural evolution of the K2 series to accomodate the more mature 2.0L builds out there. ...

heh, too bad all we'd see is a bunch of oil splashing everywhere. I'll have to take a picture just before the valve cover goes one. :p

Unfortunately I don't have a weight scale for things of that size. The supertech pistons are 325g though and balanced to less than 1g.

Re: FV-QR (EK9 CTR)
