Or throw in a 4.7 or 4.9 FD and the car will feel like it has much more power than it actually makes.

I dont know anything about CARB so I cant help you there.

huge can of worms. but you can boost a stock motor (not just Type R) without any side effects. just dont get greedy and expect things to eventually fail much quicker than a stock honda motor would...
