I did a few build on GE sleeve, good stuff.
I did quite a few build, about 5, on Darton sleeve, good stuff too.

I personally own a Benson block, built by Earl Laskey at the time... Good stuff,...

I think you should get a look at the proportioning valves on the heater line, near the firewall, where the coolant hose enter into the cab to the heater core.

I would check the ground between your engine and the body.
clean them off good with sand paper, then put some electric grease.
make shure the ECU is grounded to the body as well.

went from 28x40 with 10' high wall to 30x50 with 12' wall and cathedral ceiling with heated concrete slab.

I added a lot of tool to it wich are not added to this...

The correct way to check Vtec solenoid is to measure the coil Resistance, with an Ohmmeter.

if you want to make shure the plunger is working, just put +12V on the single wire of the solenoid to...

get a look at the Ground on the Thermostat housing.
make shure all ground are good on the engine too while your at it.

not expecting the worst here but did you take a compression reading on that engine ?
what are the number ?

make shure your injector are firing too, you may have fuel pressure, and fuel pump, but...

First off, you got a good start.
Think about getting ARP head stud and Cometic MLS head gasket.
for your wide band, get a look at Innovative one, they are the best IMO.

I figured out the stock intake manifold would do it, to a flow point of vue.
to me though, the IAB, and all the webing in the manifold plenum need to be cut...
