Re: Strain gauge comparison: Flatshifter vs Hondata

As I understand the Hondata, it is designed to work with both. It can output either a ground signal or a strain gauge signal of 0-5v.

Re: Strain gauge comparison: Flatshifter vs Hondata

I would love to know as well. I have been drooling over the Hondata since its release.

Re: Hondata 4 port boost control solenoid

Are you referring to running co2 on a single or dual 3 port?

Re: Tires for dyno....

I bought some 265/50-15 tires to try on the Dyno Dynamics. Hopefully this is enough tire to get me well past 750. GoldieWang, I dont really attend car meets anymore. The closest thing to a meet I go...

Re: Tires for dyno....

I had heard the VHT trick, guess it may be time to give it a try. I thought that maybe there was a wheel and tire combo that someone had figured out.

Re: Surge Tank

Check out the Real St Performance YouTube channel. They have a pretty good video on surge tanks, what they do, and why you might need one.

Tires for dyno....

I tried using some BFG drag radials, 225 wide,( I believe) to dyno my car with some success. However once the car hit around 750 hp, we could not keep it from spinning on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Even...

Re: To rim screw beadlocked wheels or not, that is the question.....

Thanks. I bought these wheels used and they were not drilled. However I had seen others with the same size wheel using inner rim screws.

To rim screw beadlocked wheels or not, that is the question.....

What the general consensus on using rim screws on the inner part of the wheel, while using beadlock on the outer? Btw, the wheels are 13x10 running 24.5x9 MT.

Re: Coolant not returning to rad from resevoir

The barb would go to your coolant overflow. If you leave it open, the first time it gets hot, you will have a mess.

Re: Tie rod ends?

That's some really good info, I had never thought of converting the hub to a double shear. I might actually give it a try. However, I still believe the single shear setup with Aurora ends is still...

Tie rod ends?

Is anyone running spherical tie rod ends or are most people running OEM tie rod ends? I have seen a few break over the years during a race and was wondering if anyone ran the spherical joints to...

Did you run Matt, or did I just miss it? I noticed your name on the entry list weeks before the event.

Re: CO2 boost control

That's exactly what I am saying, I didn't notice anyone using a 4 port that I could see. So apparently, for some, they aren't working or they would use them. So, back to the original question, how do...

Re: CO2 boost control

I did happen to notice several cars running a single 3 port and a few running dual 3 ports. I didn't see anyone running a 4 port. I run 12 psi springs and I am limited to 38 psi on a 3 port. I have...

CO2 boost control

Maybe I missed it, but I did not notice anyone using CO2 for boost control while I was at WCF. Does anyone still use this? And if not, how is everyone running such low boost and ramping so high...

Re: Xenocron RWSS and AEM calibration

Tires are M&H 24x3.6x15. Engine is a LS/Vtec run by an old AEM Series 1. I can get it to somewhat read a signal but the resolution is pretty bad. The signal also seems to drop out at higher speeds.
