Re: FS: 2000 Civic Si (JoelG)

This is a damn fine car with well over 150hp at the wheels, and if you aren't a "girlie-man" you can put the Tru-Choice setup (350f-400r) back on it and have an excellent autox/track day/daily driver...

Re: Isaac and HANS Crash Test Video (Catch 22)

I have no experience with the Hans, but I've been using the Isaac for the past year and a half in my H4 CRX. I've had no problems with turning my head to check mirrors or cars coming up the side. In...

If this goes down, count me in. I need more practice in Hogpen anyway.

Re: Tire Scrubbing Tutorial (thawley)

O.K. hard to see flaggers in the vid. Were they green right out of the grid? Even so, the driver of the camera car was pretty agressive to nail the spridget so soon.

Re: What cars do you hope to own in the future? (Civic44)

A '96 'vette with the LT-4 motor would be nice, but the Factory Five Daytona Cobra with a well-built 351 would be a sweet track car.

Re: The Most Beautiful Man Made Object... (Catch 22)

Re: 15x7 rim now allowed, what offset are you guys using. (jermjerm2)

I've run 15x7 TDR Pro Race 1s with 40mm offset on my H4 crx the last couple of years. With rolled fenders 205-50-15 Toyos and Hoosiers have fit fine.

Re: My NEW H1 K20 DYNO Sheet (chad)

Gotta be wrong. Based on real world data, both torque and horsepower exceed half-shaft CV joint strength at least 2/3 of the time.

Re: Viper, off the cliff (Andrie)

"He walks away completely unhurt".

I consider this the most unfortunate part of the whole incident. I guess Darwin misses every once and a while.

Re: Gas over $3, possible shortages, do you feel guilty racing this weekend? (Markus)

I don't feel guilty about racing, but I'd like to suggest that, if possible, anyone who can might contribute a race weekend's worth of bucks (or whatever you can afford) to the American Red Cross...

Re: H4 Weight Adjustments (ITAIntegraLS)

I'd rather the CRX be dropped to 2140 to align with the SCCA ITA weight, but any weight loss is appreciated. Now I can recast that lead into bullets.

Still not sure why the CRX is above the ITA...

Re: IceVest. The best thing between you and your Nomex. (rice_classic)

I used one for about a year, and they do work pretty well. Keeps your body temps down and you don't feel so dazed towards the end of a sprint race on a hot day. The biggest hassle with them is...
