Re: OEM Steering spacer? (wakedoe)

I've been looking for something like this for years. I'm surprised nobody has made one yet.

Re: Karting at Dixon (Mario_D)

Its a shame more people don't try karting. If you ever want to go W2W racing on an auto-x budget this is the option for you.

Re: Calculating Average Speed (EleanoR)

(Track distance/Time in seconds)*3600. So say you did a 1:30 lap at RR.

(2.02/90seconds)= .02244
.02244*3600 = 80.8 MPH

edit: Kouki-EK9 beat me to it.

Re: Have issues with Skunk2 Cmaber kit and can't find the solution on the search. (Todd Reid)

Here is a product made to fix them. Email Dave. He's a great fabricator.

Re: Falken FK451's for track days? (Si Erik)

You're doing track events, not racing. Time doesn't matter. They should be about the same as your spt's if not better.

Re: Falken FK451's for track days? (Si Erik)

No experience with them myself, but they have been known to be very fast in some of the ST* solo2 classes, including a championship won on them.

Re: Anyone with experience with the Dunlop DZ101? (SMSP)

I have them on my daily driver. They're not bad. I'd say grip is about the same as the es100 which I've also used. Enough grip to have fun on the street and they wear like steel so far. I mainly...

Re: 205/50/15 ANY ADVANTAGE to running this on a 15x7 vs. a 15x6.5? (nello a.)

Most 205/50/15 tires I have noticed a big difference from moving from a 6.5" wheel to 7" wide. Contact patch and also sidewall isn't able to roll as much.

Re: Realtime sway bar mounts - what advantage to this setup (117)

This is just a guess. If you look at the arms of the swaybar that connect near the wheel the angle is not straight back. Take a pencil or something and put it in that direction and move the side...

Re: Trailing Arm Bushings: ES Poly vs. Mugen Rubber (rmcdaniels)

Re: Trailing Arm Bushings: ES Poly vs. Mugen Rubber (rmcdaniels)

yes, but did you alter your alignment settings from what you used with the rubber bushings. I'm not sure how much the rear toes in under compression, but just for discussion I'll use 1/16".

If...

Re: Trailing Arm Bushings: ES Poly vs. Mugen Rubber (rmcdaniels)

did you make any alignment changes when using the two bushings. Remember the poly doesn't let the rear toe in under compression as the mugen will. That alone will make the difference in handling. ...
